The 9 Days Tanzania Safari and Gorilla Trekking Adventure takes you to witness two of Africa’s Safari spectacle the Gorilla trekking in Uganda and Big 5 animals in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. The 9 Days Tanzania Safari and Gorilla Trekking Adventure also provides you with an opportunity to see the wildebeest Migration crossings in Serengeti National Park- Grumeti River Crossing if you travel in the Months of late May, June to early July, Mara River Crossing when you travel in the Months of Late July to September.
While on this Gorilla Trekking and Safari Tour, you will visit Bwindi forest National Park, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti National park and Tarangire National Parks respectively
Your tour will start in Bwindi Impenetrable National park in Uganda from where you will transfer to Arusha in Tanzania a country that offers the perfect opportunities to view wildlife including big five mammals and predators in their natural habitat in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti national parks.
We recommend you arrive in East Africa from Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. The Road drive time from Kigali to the Gorillas in Bwindi Uganda is approximately 4 Hours compared to the 10 Hours Road Drive from Entebbe/Kampala Uganda to Bwindi. Note that you can travel between the two countries using a single visa called the East African Tourist Visa and this Visa can be got from the first country of arrival at a cost of 100USD Per person.
9 Days Tanzania Safari and Gorilla Trekking Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
From your hotel in Kigali or on arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your driver who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park the home of gorillas in Uganda via the Katuna Border point. You will arrive at your lodge in time for check in, lunch and later dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today After breakfast you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and later start your gorilla trek experience at around 8:30 am. Spending 1 hour with mountain gorillas will be a great experience for everyone. After spending a good time with the gorillas you will transfer back to the Lodge for a hot lunch and to freshen up. In the evening you may choose to relax in your Room or visit the local community of the pigmies and later have a Massage Treat, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Road Transfer to Kigali International Airport and Flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Kigali City or Kigali International airport depending on the schedule of your flight from where you will catch your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the late afternoon, you will be transferred to your Hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the Tarangire National Park for game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. After the Game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Central Serengeti National Park and Late afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, leave your hotel driving through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti national park home to 3 million animals which is larger than any savannah protected area on earth. You will drive all the way to Central Area of Serengeti and on arrival you will check in to your room, enjoy the lunch and thereafter go for an Afternoon game drive returning to your accommodation late in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.

Day 6: Full day Serengeti Plains
Today is without question one of the highlights of your safari. After a rich breakfast you will start your adventure a little earlier than usual. During a full day game drive, you will experience the Serengeti in its full glory today! if you travel in late May, June up to early July, You will be waiting for crossing along the Grumeti river but you will also do game drive. The Grumeti River is a major obstacle standing between the Wildebeest Migration and the relative safety of the Northern Serengeti. If you’re patient and a little lucky, you will get to witness the death-defying crossing itself where wildebeest and zebras brave the river’s currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety on the opposite bank. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge. To witness the Mara River Crossing, you will need to add 1 day to this itinerary

Day 7: Another Full day in The Serengeti
Today you will have another adventure day in the Serengeti Plains with an opportunity to once again view many mammals and predators. You will have a full day game drive with a picnic lunch in between. You may also choose to do a hot air balloon safari Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Game Drive in the Crater
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will later explore Ngorongoro crater. This area is compared to Garden of Eden on earth. The big numbers of wildlife can be spotted in a day including all big five, the elephant, black rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetahs, and lots of hyenas, hippos, zebra and wildebeest being the most abundant. You will take a break for lunch. in the afternoon, you will continue game viewing in the south corner of the park where you visit Lake Magadi where you can see flamingos, hippos and other water birds. Return for dinner and overnight

Day 9: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport and Departure
