Accommodations & Features
Eight private tented cottages are nestled around Sanctuary camp, with two additional ones currently under construction, set to open in 2020. Every cottage is perched on a raised wooden platform. Every cottage features a viewing deck, two queen-size beds, and an en-suite bathroom. The main lodge building features a cozy lounge area, complete with dining space and a welcoming bar.
The lodge provides rejuvenating spa treatments, featuring relaxing massages. The service is outstanding, with a daily laundry service and consistently delightful food.

Gorilla Trekking from Sanctuary
Sanctuary is nestled by the Buhoma trailhead on the northern edge of the enchanting Bwindi forest. Buhoma stands out as the premier trekking route, marking the birthplace of gorilla trekking since 1993.
The trekking in this area is the easiest among the four trailheads surrounding Bwindi, primarily because the Rushegura gorilla family often roams close to the village, which is why they sometimes make their way onto the grounds of Sanctuary camp!
