8 Days Kenya and Uganda Safari Itinerary
Day1: Arrival and Transfer to your Hotel in Nairobi
On arrival at Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be meet and greet with a representative of Engabi Tours and Travel who will welcome you to Kenya and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi City for overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve & Evening Game drive
After breakfast at your hotel, you will drive northwest via the Great Rift Valley and other stunning landscapes to the world’s renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara is an ultimate safari destination and very popular for its spectacular natural phenomenon ‘‘ Wildebeest Migration’’ and the presence of remarkable numbers of the African Big Five species. On arrival in Masai mara, you will embark on a game drive as you head to the lodge and you will be glad to spot a number of wildlife including both mammal grazers and predators across the plains. Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will depart your lodge with packed lunch boxes and drive to the sweeping plains to search for different animals while making occasional stops to take photos. While on these game drives, look out for the spotted hyenas, African wild dogs, duikers, cheetahs, African bush elephants, zebras, wildebeests, bushbucks, Masai giraffes, Cape buffaloes, aardvarks, African hares, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, yellow baboons, and leopards among others. Later in the evening you will head back to the Lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

Day 4: Another Day in Masai Mara and Optional Hot air Balloon Safari
Today you may choose to relax by the lodge in the morning and then go for an afternoon game drive. If you choose to go for a hot air balloon safari, an early morning transfer will be arranged to the Balloon Site for a briefing by the Pilot before setting off to the Air to have an Eagle eye on the Reserve. Enjoy the Balloon Safari as you float over the Savannah grassland and Meandering Rivers where you have the chance to experience an aerial view of wildlife. This Activity takes between 2- 4 hours depending on the Weather. After enjoying a Champagne breakfast that will be served in the bush on landing, you will continue with a game drive in search of wildlife and later a Community Walk to the Villages to experience the best Cultures in Africa. Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi City for flight to Entebbe
Today after breakfast, you will start your transfer to Nairobi with a game viewing opportunities on the way. On arrival in Nairobi you will head straight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight to Entebbe where on arrival you will your dedicated driver who will transfer you to your lodge in Entebbe Town for overnight. Alternatively, you may fly to Rwanda’s Kigali International Airport which is so close to the Bwindi in Uganda.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on a 10 Hours road drive via the Equator. You will have lunch en-route arriving at your lodge in Bwindi in time for dinner and overnight.
If you flew to Kigali, today you will head out for a city tour visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial Center/s, and Craft markets where a collection of items can be purchased. You will then enjoy your lunch and later drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on an approximately 5 Hours road drive via the Katuna border crossing arriving in time for lunch, later dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Experience
After breakfast at your Lodge, you will be transferred to the gorilla trekking starting point. Here you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking rules while your guide takes care of the practicalities. After briefing you set off into the forest with a specialized guide who leads you to the point where the gorillas are. For one unforgettable hour you are in the area of the mountain Gorillas seeing them in their daily life, with a chance to spot some forest interior birds.
After trekking the gorillas, you will have your packed lunch and you will head back to the starting point where your driver will pick you and take you back to the lodge for refreshing. Later in the evening you will visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe/Kigali
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Entebbe on an approximately 10 hours road drive with lunch on the way. You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport late in the evening at around 6 Pm or 7 Pm marking the end of the tour. Alternatively, you may choose to depart via Kigali International Airport which is just approximately 5 hours drive from your lodge in Bwindi.
