Itinerary for 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Your Hotel
Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe international airport on arrival and welcome you for the safari. You will proceed to the hotel where you will spend the first night of your safari in Uganda for check in.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Mburo national park
After having breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe, you will start the journey to Lake Mburo national park where you will arrive and check in at the lodge where you will have your lunch.
You will also engage in an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo on this day and enjoy seeing various wildlife species by the shores including hippos, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles among others. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Guided nature walk and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
You will have breakfast early at the lodge and go for the morning walking safari around the savannah plains of Lake Mburo national park which will be guided by the ranger guide which allows you to get up-close with the wildlife species such as antelopes, zebras and buffaloes.
After the nature walk, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch en-route and proceed to the lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game drive and Kazinga boat Cruise
After having an early breakfast at the lodge you will engage in a morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth national park where you will see lots of wildlife species around the savannah plains including elephants, lions, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, hippos and buffaloes among others.
You will also visit the Katwe salt pans after the morning game drive and learn more about the salt mining which is done by the locals. You will have lunch after this experience and in the afternoon you will also engage in a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will see many hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalos and also elephants. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as the day before.
Day 5: Drive to Entebbe
Your breakfast will be served at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park and after check out, you will start the journey back to Entebbe with lunch en-route in Mbarara town. Your guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport which will bring the tour to an end.
